The Chambre and Table d'Hôtes have been invented in the past for farmers to provide an additional income. For the tourist it meant a pleasant possibility to get to know the rural and her region dishes.
Chambre and Table d'hôte is always on a small scale and doesn't have to apply to the strict French Catering rules. That's why, and also not to be competitive with the local restaurants, it is only allowed to cook for own guests. Nowadays it is still possible to rent a simple room on a farm but it is also possible to rent a luxurious room or suite in a castle.

As our name implies, we do it 'Sans Parure', without finery. That is what we offer our guests: simple rooms with private shower and lavatory, and with attention for what is important: a good meal, good beds and lots of rest. For breakfast and diner we use as much as possible our own or local biologic products.
